Koh Maak

Koh Maak is a smaller island in the Koh Chang archipelago. It has just 16 square kilometers of surface area, but is also a part of the Koh Chang Marine National Park.

Guest accommodations have been set up on the sandy shores. The island is serviced by speedboat from the mainland (Laem Ngob pier), transfer times are estimated to be 45 minutes each way.

Koh Kood

The 4^th largest island of Thailand by size, is also southernmost within the Koh Chang archipelago of islands. Beautiful beaches and a hilly interior, covered by tropical rain forest, await the visitor here. Accessible by a wooden vessel, which operates as a passenger ferry, a 5 hour ride can be anticipated to Koh Kood. Private speedboat charters are possible and reduce the transfer time to 90 minutes each way.

Koh Kood is unfortunately a malaria-endemic zone, so active precaution or prophylactic treatments are needed, in order to protect oneself from the mosquito-borne infectious desease
